Universal Transducer Adapters for Biomedical Research
UTAs can be changed in a few minutes – no tools required
Verasonics’ Universal Transducer Adapter (UTA) enables Vantage NXT ® System users to quickly convert the system to operate transducers with a variety of connectors. Changing from one UTA to another takes only a few minutes – users loosens a set of screws by hand, changes the UTA and re-tightens the screws. The Vantage NXT system must be shut down before, and re-booted after, the UTA changeover.
One UTA adapter is included with every Vantage NXT System purchase. Additional adapters are available to meet changing research needs; older Vantage systems can be upgraded to the latest UTA technology as many UTAs are compatible across both Vantage platforms.

NXT UTA 260-S
The UTA 260-S is compatible with Verasonics-labeled transducers and ATL HDI Transducers, including 192 and 256-element probes with high voltage multiplexers.
NXT UTA 260-D
The UTA 260-D adapters is compatible with Verasonics-labeled transducers and ATL HDI Transducers, including 192 and 256-element probes with high voltage multiplexers.
NXT UTA 260-MUX
The UTA 260-MUX supports transducers with up to 128 elements on systems with fewer channels.
NXT UTA 408-GE
The UTA 408-GE supports Verasonics transducers, select GE Healthcare1 transducers and custom transducers using the GE-408-pin backshell kit.

NXT UTA 256 Direct
