Universal Transducer Adapters
Verasonics’ Universal Transducer Adapters (UTAs) enable users to quickly convert their system to operate transducers with a variety of connectors. Changing from one UTA takes only a few minutes – users loosen a set of screws by hand, change the UTA, and retighten the screws. The Systems must be shut down before and rebooted after the UTA changeover.
One UTA adapter is included with every Verasonics Systems purchase. Additional adapters are available to meet changing research needs.

Vantage NXT UTA 260-S
The UTA 260-S features a single 260-pin connector and is compatible with Verasonics-labeled transducers and ATL HDI Transducers, including 192 and 256-element probes with high-voltage multiplexers.
Vantage NXT UTA 260-D
The UTA 260-D features two 260-pin connectors and is compatible with Verasonics-labeled transducers and ATL HDI Transducers, including 192 and 256-element probes with high-voltage multiplexers.
Vantage NXT UTA 260-MUX
The UTA 260-MUX provides a 2:1 multiplexing capability and supports transducers with up to 128 elements on systems with fewer channels.
Vantage NXT UTA 408-GE
The UTA 408-GE supports transducers with up to 256 elements, including select probes from Verasonics and GE Healthcare1, as well as custom transducers using the GE-408-pin backshell kit.
Vantage NXT UTA 408-GE-MUX
The UTA 408-GE-MUX provides a 2:1 multiplexing capability and connectivity for transducers with 128 or fewer directly connected elements.
The NXT UTA 408-GE MUX is available on the Vantage NXT 32LE and 64.
Vantage NXT UTA 256 Direct
The UTA 256 Direct offers direct connections for custom and specialty transducers with up to 256 elements, eliminating the need for a multiplexer.
Vantage NXT UTA 1024-MUX
The UTA 1024-MUX provides a 4:1 multiplexing capability and connectivity for transducers with up to 1024 elements on Vantage NXT 256 systems, which is ideal for applications such as 3D and volume acquisition research.
Vantage NXT UTA 64 LEMO
The UTA 64 LEMO adapter features 64 LEMO series 00 connectors for direct transmit and/or receive channel connections for up to 64 single-element transducers. Two LEMO to BNC adapters are included.
Vantage NXT UTA 128 LEMO
The UTA 128 LEMO adapter features 128 LEMO series 00 connectors for single-element transducers, enabling the use of multiple transducers for complex interrogations. Two LEMO to BNC adapters are included.
Vantage NXT UTA 160-DH/32 LEMO
The UTA 160-DH/32 LEMO adapter features two Hypertronics 160-pin connectors in addition to 32 single-channel LEMO series 00 connectors.
Vantage NXT UTA 160-SH/8 LEMO
The UTA 160-SH/8 LEMO adapter features a single Hypertronics 160-pin connector in addition to 8 single-channel LEMO series 00 connectors.
Vantage NXT UTA 160-SI/8 LEMO
The UTA 160-SI/8 LEMO adapter has one I-PEX phased array connector and 8 single-channel LEMO series 00 connectors.
