Non-Destructive Testing Research – BINDT Conference
The 58th annual BINDT Conference in Telford, the UK, will feature an extensive range of non-destructive evaluation research, applications, and technology sessions. The 2019 Materials Testing exhibition will also coincide with the BINDT conference, with 70 companies exhibiting, including Verasonics, a leader in non-destructive testing research.
BINDT Conference and RCNDE Showcase
The BINDT conference will also include the first open RCNDE research showcase. Session A of the RCNDE showcase will consist of 30 presentations that will run throughout the conference. The event will present NDE related research from 6 university members, along with detailed reports regarding how the research has been beneficial. This combined event provides a unique opportunity for the non-destructive testing research industry to discover more about the latest outputs from the NDE/NDT research program. Also provided will be information regarding the benefits of membership. In-line illustrations of ready-to-go non-destructive evaluation research innovations will also be exhibited at the RCNDE showcase at the Materials Testing exhibition.
Verasonics – Leader in Non-Destructive Testing Research
Thanks to Verasonics‘ Vantage ultrasound system platform, researchers in NDT and NDE research can efficiently conceptualize, implement, and assess cutting-edge approaches to NDT ultrasound evaluation and testing. The Vantage ultrasound system provides materials science researchers with advanced phased array technology using a remarkably adaptable platform. This means that it can be used for several applications. Utilizing exclusive software and hardware technological innovations, the Vantage system facilitates advanced NDE/NDT algorithm advancement, giving researchers access to more channels than any system currently on the market. In addition, non-destructive testing researchers have the ability to program each channel independently when it comes to transmitting and receiving. The Vantage platform also provides immediate access to vital raw acoustic data for every channel.
UTA for Non-Destructive Testing Research
Verasonics’ UTA (Universal Transducer Adapter) makes it possible for Vantage system users to easily be able to run transducers with varying types of connectors. Shifting from one UTA to another is easy as well and can be accomplished in minutes. Our universal transducer adapters provide the ultimate in flexibility, from using phased array transducers that have multiple elements, to individual transducers with single-element connectors.
