Universal Transducer Adapters for NDE/NDT Research
Verasonics’ Universal Transducer Adapters (UTAs) enable Vantage NXT ® System users to quickly convert their system to operate transducers with a variety of connectors. Changing from one UTA takes only a few minutes – users loosen a set of screws by hand, changes the UTA and re-tightens the screws. The Vantage NXT System must be shut down before, and re-booted after, the UTA changeover.
One UTA adapter is included with every Vantage NXT System purchase. Additional adapters are available to meet changing research needs; older Vantage systems can be upgraded to the latest UTA technology as many UTAs are compatible across both Vantage platforms.

NXT UTA 64 LEMO
The NXT UTA 64 LEMO adapter provides direct transmit and/or receive channel connections for up to 64 single-channel transducers. 2 LEMO to BNC adapters are included.
NXT UTA 128 LEMO
The UTA 128 LEMO adapters provide 128 LEMO series 00 connectors for single element transducers.
NXT UTA 160-DH/32 LEMO
The NXT UTA 160-DH/32 LEMO adapter provides 2 Hypertronics 160-pin connectors in addition to 32 single-channel LEMO connectors.
NXT UTA 160-SH/8 LEMO
The NXT UTA 160-SH/8 LEMO adapter provides a single Hypertronics 160-pin connector in addition to 8 single-channel LEMO connectors.
NXT UTA 160-SI/8 LEMO
The NXT UTA 160-SI/8 LEMO adapter has one I-PEX phased array connector and 8 single-channel LEMO connectors.
