Verasonics Permissive License

Verasonics recently announced the Verasonics Permissive License, which provides customers with improved flexibility for sharing of programming scripts developed with the Vantage system.

The Verasonics Permissive License allows Vantage customers the right to use, copy, modify, merge, or distribute copies of their software and scripts with the inclusion of copyright and permission notices. NOTE: This license does not extend to Verasonics software or documentation.

This licensing change offers benefits to researchers on a global basis with:

• Enhanced capability to collaborate with other Vantage researchers,
• Flexibility to more freely publish and share their own programming scripts,
• Helps support grant funding requirements.
