Vantage NDE System | ASNT
Verasonics will be showcasing their Vantage NDE system platform at the upcoming ASNT ultrasonics and digital Imaging event. Join exhibitors, NDE/NDT speakers, and more to learn more about the latest breakthroughs in digital imaging and ultrasound research techniques. The conference includes a virtual exhibit floor offering the opportunity to converse with dozens of other exhibitors regarding their services and products. Topics include ultrasonic research in NDT and plane wave imaging, and digital imaging.
American Society for Nondestructive Testing
ASNT’s mission is to establish a safer world by advancing technical, engineering, and scientific knowledge in the realm of non-destructive testing. Members of the ASNT, have access to the latest NDT research and knowledge that supports and accelerates professional development. Having an ASNT certification (the world’s most recognized in the industry) advances careers in NDT.
The Vantage NDE System
The Vantage system for NDE is a real-time, programmable, software-based platform built to accelerate ultrasound research. Just one Vantage system addresses a broad range of applications and requirements for industrial and academic ultrasound research and development.
The Vantage has capabilities extended for use in nondestructive evaluation, nondestructive testing, earth science, materials science, and more. Along with its advantages in phased array research ultrasound, the Vantage system is well suited for utilizing multi-channel applications and techniques that include guided wave tomography, acoustic emission monitoring, and acoustic trapping. Researchers worldwide take advantage of the unrivaled flexibility of the Vantage system to advance the science and art of ultrasound via their own research efforts. Additionally, each Vantage System is upgradeable to any configuration encompassing even more research options.
The NDE System UTA NDE Adapter
The UTA NDE adapter (Universal Transducer Adapter) is a custom transducer adapter that makes it possible for users to easily convert the system to run transducers with varying connectors. From single-element connectors to connectors for phased arrays with multiple elements, the UTA provides the ultimate in flexibility. Changing from one UTA to another can be achieved in just a few minutes.
A UTA adapter is provided with each Vantage system purchased. Supplemental adapters are also available as required. Older Vantage systems can be upgraded to use the UTA technology as well.
